Carrot Cake: Moist carrot cake with walnuts, pineapple + coconut, layered with honey-sweet cream cheese icing.

Pink Velvet Cake: Cocoa spice cake layered and masked with pale pink cream cheese icing.
Vegan Chocolate: Rich tasting vegan chocolate cake with no dairy nor eggs, made with spelt flour. (Spelt has gluten and may not be suitable for a strict gluten-free diet). May be masked with either chocolate or white vegan icing. *By special order only, requires 3-weeks' notice.

  • Mousse cakes, cheesecakes, and meringues are unsuitable for stacking and multi-tiered cakes.
  • We recommend that no more than 2 complimentary flavours be combined for your multi-tiered cake.
  • Any multi-tier design can be recreated for a single-tier cake.

White Buttercream - a true buttercream made with sweet butter + pure vanilla.
Rolled Fondant - classic + elegant, our rolled fondant is worked into a smooth white sheet.
Cream Cheese Icing - naturally sweetened with honey, pairs perfectly with our Carrot or Pink Velvet cakes.
Bittersweet Chocolate Ganache - smooth + rich, ideal for finishing Chocolate Fudge or Mocha cakes.

  • Customize the finish, piping accents or borders with naturally tinted buttercreams, frostings and rolled fondants in pale shades of Yellow, Orange, Pink, Lilac, Purple, Green, and Chocolate.
  • We can tailor other colours to your request but custom shades may require non-natural ingredients to achieve the desired shade.
  • Piping designs on cakes masked in rolled fondant are done in buttercream.

The cake yields below are based on a 2" x 2" serving size. Multi-tiered cakes have 2 to 4 tiers of Round or Square cakes, or a mix of Rounds stacked on Squares. They have plastic dowels to maintain stability for display - remind your venue or caterer to remove all supports before serving.

We offer a selection of cakes with double stacked centre tiers (see #23 Fanciful Twirls). These are not available on the bottom or top tier of a cake, nor as a single tier cake. Double stacked centre tiers may be one flavour only and are available in Chocolate Fudge, Carrot Cake, Pink Velvet or Classic Vanilla as these flavours are denser and give the cake a more solid base.

FLOWERS accordion arrow


Fresh flowers are a stunning addition to any cake, or we can sugar-frost fresh flowers to create a delicate crystalline appearance. Recommended types: Roses, Alstroemeria, Freesia, Iris, Daisies or Gerbera Daisies, Hydrangea, Dendrobium or Cymbidium Orchids, Lilies, Tulips, Mums and Waxed Flowers.


When ordering, please specify your flower preference, or ask us to select appropriate seasonal blooms based on your colour scheme. If you are providing your own flowers, ask your florist to deliver them to us before noon on the day before your wedding. A fee will be charged for arranging flowers supplied by you or your florist. Pricing will vary according to seasonal availability plus the size + style of your arrangement.


Edible flowers may be added for a touch of elegance or splash of colour. Some edible flowers are wired which means they should not be eaten even though they are made of chocolate paste. Cake toppers and figurines are available from wedding suppliers and cake specialty stores; we can mount these on your cake at no charge. Using a cake stand? Let us know in advance and we will box your cake in single, unassembled tiers. Cake stands may be rented from your venue or caterer.

Contact directly the Dufflet retail location most convenient to you to set up a consultation and in-store tasting. Sorry, but consultations are not available at our head office on Norseman in Etobicoke. You may also schedule a consultation by using our online form.


We require a minimum of 3-weeks’ notice for multi-tiered cakes. Custom orders (cakes not based on our numbered design gallery) may require additional advance notice. Any changes to an order already placed require a minimum of 1-weeks’ advance notice.

All tiered cakes require a deposit of 50% upon order, and final payment is due at the time of pickup or prior to delivery. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cheque and cash payments. On-line payment is also available via our PayPal account.

For cancellations we require 5-weekdays’ notice before 12:00 pm to request a full refund on cancelled orders. Deposits will not be refunded without proper notice.


No matter the size or style, our cakes are securely boxed for pick-up or delivery. Dufflet refrigerated vehicles deliver Mondays through Saturdays within a delivery window from 9am to 3pm. For a guaranteed delivery time Mondays to Saturdays, or for Sunday deliveries, a courier delivery may be arranged.

Pick-ups can be made during business hours at the Dufflet retail location where you placed your order. Sorry, but retail pick-ups are not available from our head office/bakery on Norseman.

Delivery charges within Metro Toronto start at $50.00. Rates are calculated based on destination address. Our cakes are not suitable for shipping via air or land freight. Cakes being picked up from Dufflet Pastries should be transported in air-conditioned vehicles or refrigerated containers.

For orders requiring delivery, please provide the following venue information:

  • venue name and full address (including intersection) and telephone number
  • venue contact person's name and phone number
  • confirmed delivery hours at venue
  • a visual inspection and an authorized signature is required at delivery
